Instructions for playing the Game

  • Step 1:

    Getting Ready
    • Remove the Instruction Cards, then shuffle the deck thoroughly.
    • Deal seven cards to each player.
    • Place the remaining cards face down in the center to form the draw pile.

  • Step 2:

    Taking a Turn
    • The first player draws one card from the draw pile.
    • They look at their hand for pairs of matching cards.
    • Matches are always made in pairs of two.
    • Each time a pair is laid down, the player joyfully says: “Uba Tobacca!”
    • Example: If they have three pairs, they place them down one by one, saying Uba Tobacca for each pair.
    • Magic Cards may be used to complete any pair – just like a joker or a wish card. 
    • After laying down matches, the player chooses one card from their hand and passes it to the next player.
    • Finally, they refill their hand back to seven cards by drawing from the pile.
    • The next player repeats the same steps.

  • Step 3:

    Ending a Round
    • When it’s the last player’s turn, they follow the same steps as before.
    • The only difference: instead of passing a card to the next player, they place one card face down into the discard pile.
    • Once the last player discards, the round is complete.
    • A new round then begins with the first player drawing from the pile again, and play continues as described in Step 2.

  • Winning the Game:

    • The game ends when a player has played all their cards.
    • If the draw pile runs out, shuffle the discard pile to create a new draw pile.

    That’s it! Gather your cards, say “Uba Tobacca” with each pair, and enjoy the fun of playing together.

  • Variations & Challenges:

    • You can play until the draw pile is completely gone. In this case, the winner is the player who has laid down the most pairs.
    • For an extra challenge, you can agree to match not only the picture on the card but also the shape in the top right corner.
